2022 Holiday Christmas Tree

To our community,

This holiday season, there is so much for us all to celebrate. After several difficult years, families and friends are getting back to their holiday traditions. We feel more comfortable hugging our loved ones and gathering together in groups. For the first time in a long time, it feels like life is getting back to normal.

At Tufts Medicine Lowell General Hospital, we are celebrating our family — the 3,500 employees and 700 physicians who come together every day to put our patients first, no matter the circumstances. Our staff has never wavered for you, and they continue to work incredibly hard through the holidays.

COVID, flu and other viruses are very active this winter, and the healthcare system is still recovering from this unprecedented time in our history.

We want to thank our community for the continued support, and ask you to remain vigilant. However you celebrate this holiday season, you can support each other and our caregivers by taking some simple steps – wash your hands, cough into your elbow, stay home if you are sick, make use of home COVID tests and wear a mask to protect the most vulnerable. Together, we have come a long way, and we see even brighter days ahead.

Like you, we at Tufts Medicine are excited to move forward to achieve a healthier, happier future for all of us. From our family to yours, we wish you a safe and happy holiday season and an even better New Year.

In good health,
