Matthew J. Sabatino, MD

Dr. Sabatino is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS), the North American Spine Society (NASS), and the New England Orthopaedic Society (NEOS).

Dr. Sabatino was inspired to become a physician “from a deep sense of wanting to help people; specifically, people who experience pain to the degree that they were incapable of enjoying life. I want to meet patients wherever they are on the continuum of care in order to help them to a healthier outcome.”

“There has been a tremendous amount of innovation within the field of spine surgery in recent years,” says Dr. Sabatino. “I enjoy applying newer, minimally invasive spine surgery techniques in my practice so my patients will benefit from less tissue disruption.”

What is Dr. Sabatino’s care philosophy?

“I believe in working with patients to help them experience true relief from the debilitating pain that spine conditions can cause. By providing a thoughtful approach, I can help the patient navigate the multitude of treatment possibilities to arrive at a state of better health and less pain.”

Outside of work, Dr. Sabatino spends as much time as possible with his family. He also enjoys working with his kids’ sports teams, like little league and soccer, as a coach and as a team physician.
