Lowell General Hospital’s main and Saints campuses along with Merrimack Valley Cardiology located in North Chelmsford have been granted a three-year term of accreditation by the Intersocietal Accreditation Commission (IAC) in the area of Adult Transthoracic Echocardiography.

Lowell General Hospital has received the American Heart Association’s Get With The Guidelines® - Stroke quality achievement award at both the Main and Saints campuses for our commitment to ensuring stroke patients receive the most appropriate treatment according to nationally recognized, research-based guidelines, ultimately leading to more lives saved and reduced disability. The Main campus received Gold Plus status, while the Saints campus achieved Silver Plus status.
The Lowell Sun recently released its 2022 Readers’ Choice Awards issue. The Sun ballot is housed on its website LowellSun.com for locals to vote for their favorites within Lowell and surrounding communities. Categories cover a wide range of services and voting lasted for two to three weeks. First-place winners were featured in the special section in late June.
